“Iron way” Bolver-Lugli

The protected climbing path “Bolver-Lugli” climbs the 1000 meters high wall on the west face of Cimon della Pala (3184 m). It is known to be one of the finest “iron way” in the Alps. Here we are reaching the base of the wall from the village of San Martino di Castrozza… a bit slow with our stomachs full of delicious krapfens (bavarian doughnuts).

At the beginning of the steep section.

Elisa pulling the lazy man.

In the clouds trying to go faster to be on top before the afternoon rain.

Looking tired.

A strange, creepy place at 3000 meters.

Getting wet on the way to the Travignolo pass.

The looong and rocky way down.
